The world was unfair to Jesus when He was living as a man. So with Jesus in us, and us living out Jesus, do we expect those who are close to us, those whom we do not know or the world to be fair to us?
No. Never.
Obedience is really opening the door so that you allow God to continue working in your life.
From an act of obedience, I don’t need to be afraid of what I stand to lose, because even if everything falls apart, God is there for me.
Even though sometimes I may not stand to gain when I obey, I will still obey because obedience is never because of rewards or whatsoever but obedience is to show my love for God and that truly I want to do things according to His will.
If a person can’t even trust and obey God in the smallest of things, it just proves that something else is taking the place of God in the person’s heart.
